Hannah was born and raised in Covington, Louisiana. She graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi (Hattiesburg) with a B.A. in English. During her time in college, she honed her creative writing skill through fiction and poetry classes. She had one poem and one short story published in the university’s literary magazine, Product. After graduating, she obtained a JD from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in Washington, DC. Her legal career ended before it ever began, but at least her first novel came out of it. She now resides in the suburbs of Chicago, where she serves coffee by day and works on her writing by night.
